Why are my "Excluded Apps" still getting blocked?

First off, we know this can be frustrating. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.


If your "Excluded Apps" are still getting blocked, try the following steps:

1) Remove and re-add the apps in "Profile > Settings > Excluded apps"

This issue can happen when Apple "Screen Time" gets out of sync.

2) Restart your device

  • Restart your phone, then tap "Help > Reload unblocking"

3) Reconnect "Screen Time" access

  • Open "Settings > Screen Time".

  • Navigate to "Apps With Screen Time Access".

  • Toggle "Roots" off, then back on.

  • Tap "Continue" to grant Roots "Screen Time" access again.

4) Check linked devices and "Family Sharing"
