Why do uninstalled apps and rarely visited websites appear in the app picker?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

We're here to help.

First off, we know this can be frustrating. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately, the app picker is fully controlled by Apple. This means that sometimes uninstalled apps or rarely visited websites may still appear in the list, which we agree can feel a bit odd. You can simply ignore them—they won’t affect your experience once you’ve made your selections.

Alternatively, you could use the search bar in the app picker to quickly find specific apps or websites by name instead of scrolling through everything.

That said, we will definitely look into this issue and hopefully find a way to improve it.
