Why don't blocking times update automatically with time zone changes?

Steps to troubleshoot:

1) Quick refresh

  • Go to Roots > Help (top of any screen)

  • Tap Reload Blocking

  • This often syncs the time zones properly


2) Reset Screen Time permissions

  • Go to Settings > Screen Time > Apps with Screen Time Access

  • Toggle Roots OFF, then back ON

  • Reopen Roots and grant Screen Time access when prompted
    (This forces a fresh connection and usually fixes time zone issues.)

3) Restart the app and device

  • Force close Roots completely

  • Restart your phone

  • Open Roots again and check if the times are now correct
