First off, we know this can be frustrating. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
If you're noticing that Roots isn’t showing daily data beyond the last 2–3 days, or it seems stuck trying to load data, don't worry — this can usually be resolved with a couple of quick steps.
1) Reload blocking
This refreshes Roots' connection to Screen Time and often resolves temporary syncing issues.
To reload:
- Open the Roots app 
- Tap Help (at the top of the screen) 
- Select Reload Blocking 
Wait a few seconds after reloading, then check if your data appears.
2) Restart your iPhone
If reloading doesn’t help, try restarting your device.
Sometimes iOS gets stuck in the background, and a simple restart can re-trigger data syncing.
To restart your phone:
- Press and hold the power button (and volume button on some models) until the slider appears 
- Slide to power off 
- After a few seconds, turn it back on
