Free trial availability
Roots offers a 7-day free trial only with the annual plan.
Annual plan: Includes a 7-day free trial before you're charged
Monthly plan: Does not include a free trial - you're charged immediately upon subscription
If you were charged unexpectedly
If you selected the monthly plan thinking it included a free trial, we completely understand the confusion and want to make this right.
Here's what you can do:
Cancel your monthly subscription through your iPhone settings:
Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
Select Roots
Tap Cancel Subscription
Request a refund from Apple:
Sign in with your Apple ID
Find the Roots charge and select Report a Problem
Choose "I didn't mean to purchase this" or "Other"
Apple typically processes refunds within 48 hours
Subscribe to the annual plan to get your 7-day free trial:
Open Roots
Go to Profile > Manage Subscription
Select the Annual Plan to start your free trial
