If you’re seeing a “Live Blocking is Active” banner on your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island, that’s an iOS Live Activity — Apple’s way of showing real-time blocking status while Roots is running. Here’s how to turn it off.

1. Open Settings

2. Scroll down and tap Roots

3. Turn off Live Activities

Your blocking will keep running perfectly in the background — you just won’t see the live status update on your screen anymore.
