This is expected, and nothing is wrong.
For the first hour after you give Roots "Screen Time" access, the "Today" tab shows a "Welcome to Roots" screen with a progress ring and "Ready in N minutes". This gives Apple's "Screen Time" enough time to share your usage data with Roots.
What should I do?
Just wait about an hour. After that, "Today" will show your screen time, pickups, and most-used apps.
Still empty after an hour?
Tap reload top right of the "Today" tab
Close and reopen Roots
Restart your phone
