How RotoWire's Smart Money Tool Works For You

Updated yesterday

You don't have to be the smartest bettor in the room. Just get in it.

With RotoWire's Smart Money tool, you get access to the biggest wagers from the best bettors in the game. We track bets placed on sharp markets like Novig and ProphetX — where bettors who sportsbooks have already limited are forced to play. That means less noise, more signal, and money moves worth following.

From there, we take the data and present it to you in a simple table, as seen below, which allows you to analyze the bet further, as well as the best book to make the bet on.

In this case, the bet is the Red Sox moneyline, at +120, with Sportzino offering the best odds. If you click the purple bar, you’ll be taken to Sportzino's book directly and be able to place your bet.

The 85 is our weighted score, which combines the factors in the table and assigns a value between 0 and 100, indicating the likelihood of success. 100 is best.

5.5K is the total amount bet on the Rd Sox, while the +120 odds suggest a 45% chance the Red Sox will win.

Edge shows how much better it is to place this bet on Sportzino than where most people are placing the same bet.

Clicking the table gives us a deeper view of the data.

Here, we can better illustrate what the Edge graph implies. Most of the “Smart Money” is bet at +114, but the Sportzino line is currently at +120, or 1.3% better.

Stake distribution shows us how much was bet at different odds. The more the money is spread out, the more it implies this is a good bet, and the cash is steadily flowing in on the Red Sox, even as the line moves, and the bet becomes slightly less profitable.

It's as simple as that. We show you where the smart money is going, then where and how much to bet to take advantage. All you have to do is submit the ticket.

Speaking of what to bet, Smart Money gives you multiple filters to work with at the top of the page, as well as the option to add your bankroll amount.

Once you input the bankroll you have to work with, the amount to bet on each of the options will be suggested for you, based on a percentage of your bankroll, the likelihood of the bet hitting, and the confidence level in the bet.

The other filter options let you narrow down the field of options by selecting a minimum and maximum amount, or narrow down the numerous sports options, or potentially dozens of sportsbooks it displays bets from.
