We are excited to roll out the Atlassian Rovo beta. This is a unique opportunity for our team to gain early access to Atlassian's first AI-powered product.


Atlassian Rovo

Rovo is tailored to enhance the productivity of all teams, from developers to marketing professionals. It seamlessly integrates with Atlassian's Cloud Enterprise and Premium offerings, including the essential tools of Jira and Confluence.


How can Rovo help you?

Rovo unlocks organizational knowledge. It swiftly searches across your Atlassian and SaaS products to find needed information, enhances your understanding of company insights to help you make better decisions, and improves outcomes with specialized Agents that work alongside you like a human colleague.


Use Rovo to:

  • Understand company jargon and project definitions within the flow of work

  • Identify your high-priority projects and tasks that are directly aligned with company goals

  • Automate maintenance tasks, manage backlogs, and convert Confluence content to Jira tickets allowing you more time for strategic focus

Q. What kind of questions or tasks can Rovo help you with?

A. When asking Rovo a question or to complete a task be as detailed as possible, use full sentences, and give clear instructions. Rovo can handle a lot of tasks for you, and support for natural language makes chatting with it a breeze. See some example prompts you can use with Rovo Chat.


Q. How do I know the responses that Rovo provides are accurate?

A. Rovo shows the sources used to generate responses, and we encourage you to review these sources before making decisions or taking actions based on Rovo’s responses.


Q. Is my data and queries private?

A. Search terms, prompts and response data are not used to cross train other LLM models and nor retained by Atlassian. Atlassian may use data for troubleshooting and debugging, or to solve support queries we may raise with Atlassian.

Q. What are Rovo Agents?

A. Rovo Agents are configurable AI teammates that integrate into your workflows. Rovo will ship with 20 Agents out-of-the box when released to general availability (GA) later this year. The beta includes three Agents for you to experience:

  1. Decision Director

  2. User Manual Writer

  3. Product Requirements Expert
