This article covers the following topics:

  • Save Your Response Package

  • Save a Copy of Your Response Package

Save Your Response Package

  1. Select Save from the File menu OR type Ctrl+S (Cmd-S for Mac users).

  2. For a new file that has never been saved, use your operating system's Save dialog to save your file with the desired file name and location.

  3. Your response package will be saved as an .rpr file and the * next to the file name at the top of your window will be removed, indicating there are no unsaved changes.

Note that we autosave a temporary recovery copy in case your computer or Rowan Patents crashes, but this file will be lost if you close your file without saving your latest work.

Save a Copy of Your Response Package

  1. If you have any unsaved work you want reflected in both files, save your existing file first (see above).

  2. Select Save As from the File menu OR type Ctrl+Shift+S (Cmd-Shift-S for Mac users).

  3. Use your operating system's Save As dialog to save your file with the desired file name and location.
