Create a Stripe Connect account

Required to charge your guest a prepayment, capture credit card details, prevent no shows / late cancellations, or event tickets

You may need a Stripe Connect account that is linked to your RSVP account if you charge prepayments, capture credit card details, sell vouchers, or offer takeout. Once you have a Stripe Connect account for your restaurant, it also means ticketing for special events like pop-ups will arrive directly into your accounts rather than having to wait until after the event ends.

If you are an event organizer, you may also need Stripe Connect under special circumstances. An RSVP team member will always let you know when this is the case, so do not proceed with the below unless you have been requested to do so by our team.

 1.     Log into RSVP (

2.     Click on the Profile Settings tab once you are logged in and select the organization in question. You may have access to more than one organization, so make sure you select the correct one.

3.     Scroll down to the Bank Accounts step, click on it, then select the Connect with Stripe button.

4.     You will be redirected to Stripe where you will see the screen below. Please take a couple minutes to fill out the information requested on this page. 

Note: If you already have a Stripe account, you can give us access by signing in in the upper righthand corner.

5.     The last step will ask you to save your Stripe account by using an email and password. If everything is in order, the Authorize Access to this Account button will be clickable. Click it and wait to be redirected back to RSVP. An RSVP team member will be in touch if we need anything else to link the two accounts.
