Send an Urgent Alert

Send urgent text messages to inform current and arriving guests about area disruptions, such as severe storms, fires, or road closures. You can send the alert immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time.

Use the steps below to send an alert to all your guests by email or SMS/text.

1. Go to the Alerts page.

2. Click Add an Alert.

3. Enter the Alert Name (visible only to you, not to the guest).

4. Choose a message template (if available) or create a new message in the message box.

5. Use Tags to send alerts to specific properties. [About Tags]

6. In the Guests drop-down menu, select from Staying, Arriving, or Departing.

7. Under Staying on or between, select the date range.

8. Choose Send Now or Schedule the alert for a later date.

9. Select the delivery method: SMS or Email.

10. Click View Macros to personalize the alert.

11. Click Save to send immediately or Schedule if sending later.
