How to use install and use the Run The World Slack App

Run The World has just released its brand new Slack App, making it easy to create a social event within your organization or community slack groups.

Here is what you need to do to use the new Run The World Slack App:

  1. Open Slack and select "+ Add apps" in the bottom of the left panel.

  2. Search "Run The World" to add the Run The World Slack App

  3. Once added, use the command /hostevent in the channel you wish to start a Social Event in.

  4. A message will then appear that states the follow, along with a Join button: A social event is created by @FirstName_LastName. Join the event or invite more people https://www.runtheworld.today/room/#####

  5. Once you join the Social Event, you will be able to use all of the Run The World interactive features and networking tools to interact with others in your Slack channel.
