Point of Sale and Checkout

On the Retail > Sales page, you can view and manage all the in-person retail transactions processed at your facility. Additionally, this is where staff can process a sale!

How to process a Quick Sale

If staff needs to process a sale for an item not listed in the Product list, they can use the Quick Sale feature to complete the transaction.

  1. Click the + New Button

  2. Select Quick Sale

  3. Select the Home button

  4. Select Quick Sale

  5. Enter the Amount and click Checkout.

  6. Apply Tax (if applicable):

    • If applicable, select the correct tax amount from the drop-down menu before proceeding.

    • If you need to update the Tax Rate, this can be done under Settings > General > Facility Details > Tax Rates.

  7. Apply Custom Fees (if applicable):

    • If applicable, select the appropriate Custom Fee from the drop-down menu before proceeding.

    • If you need to update the Custom Fee, this can be done under Settings > General > Facility Details > Tax Rates.

  8. Select the Payment Method

  9. Select Pay & Confirm.

  10. Click Done. 

Note: If no customer is selected, you can still complete the checkout process by accepting cash or processing payment through the POS card reader / terminal.


How to Process a Product Sale

  1. Click the + New Button

  2. Select Add Customer

  3. Select the Products button

  4. Select Item(s)

  5. Click Checkout.

  6. Apply Tax (if applicable):

    • If applicable, select the correct tax amount from the drop-down menu before proceeding.

    • If you need to update the Tax Rate, this can be done under Settings > General > Facility Details > Tax Rates.

  7. Apply Custom Fees (if applicable):

    • If applicable, select the appropriate Custom Fee from the drop-down menu before proceeding.

    • If you need to update the Custom Fee, this can be done under Settings > General > Facility Details > Tax Rates.

  8. Select the Payment Method

  9. Select Pay & Confirm

  10. Click Done. 


How to Process a Retail Sale refund

To process a refund for a sale:

  1. Navigate to Retail > Sales transaction summary page.

  2. Find the transaction you wish to refund and click the Refund button.

  3. Enter the refund amount (Note: You cannot refund more than the original transaction amount).

  4. Select the Payment Method for the refund.

  5. Click Issue Refund.


How to Download a Receipt

Follow these steps to download a receipt for a sales transaction:

  1. Go to Retail > Sales page to view all your sales transactions.

  2. Locate the Desired Transaction and click the Download Receipt icon

  3. A PDF copy of the receipt will download to your device
