How do I pause orders?

  1. From the Order Manager application, click on the Pause button in the top right-hand corner.

  2. Choose whether you wish to pause orders :

    • only on one brand (all platforms)

    • only on a particular brand platform

    • on all brands and all platforms.

Please note: the Pause button should only be used for one-off periods (no longer than 30 minutes), and only during periods of heavy rush.

  • on Uber: order-taking will be interrupted until you reactivate it by pressing Play.

  • on Deliveroo: after 30-40 minutes, customers will be able to order again, even if you still have the Pause button activated. So to avoid any bugs, press the Play button again.

  • on JustEatTakeAway: order-taking will be interrupted until you reactivate it by pressing Play.

If you wish to make an exceptional closure, you must :

  • do it from your hub (Uber, Deliveroo, etc.).
