How my customers leave me a review (and how to send them my review link)

How a customer leaves you a review after a job, how to request/resend the review link, whether they need an account, and what to do if the link says "listing not found."

The short version

After a job, your customer gets a link to review you. If they didn't get it or can't find it, you can re-send the request from the job, and you can always point them to your public profile to leave one. Customers do not need a full RV Help account — a name and email are enough.

How does a customer normally leave a review?

  • Automatically after payment. When a customer pays you through RV Help, they're shown a "leave a review" link right after checkout, and we automatically send them a review-request email shortly after.

  • From your request. On the completed job, tap the Request Review button to send (or re-send) the customer a review request.

  • From your public profile. Anyone can leave a review from your listing page on rvhelp.com.

Do my customers need an account to review me?

No. Logged-in customers' reviews are auto-approved, and a customer without an account can still leave one by entering their first name, last name, and email. If the review is tied to a job they paid for through RV Help, it posts right away; otherwise we may first ask them to verify their email to confirm who left it. (See Reviews on RV Help.)

The review link doesn't work / says "listing not found"

This usually means the link is pointing at an old version of your listing — for example, if your business name or profile address changed after the link was sent. Ask the customer to leave the review from your current public profile instead, or reply here with the job and we'll send a fresh link. (If you've recently changed your business name and old review links are breaking, let us know — we want to fix that.)

I got a review but it's not showing as a "Verified Work" review

A Verified Work review is one tied to an actual job you completed and were paid for through RV Help — those are the ones that count toward your Certified Pro standing. A review left another way still shows on your profile but may not carry the Verified Work label. If a customer reviewed you for a real RV Help job and it isn't marked verified, reply here with the job and we'll look into it.
