Arriving on site

On arrival, please follow the signage for Ryde, and if using their parking ensure you are using the yard (unless told otherwise by someone on site).

  • Greet the hub manager. They will sign you in.

  • Collect your high-vis jacket, keys to your van, and 'sorry I missed you' cards.

Scanning and packing

  • Once a manager has shown you your deliveries, use the Ryde app to scan your packages.

  • Pack your van using our handy guide here.

Electric vehicles

  • Electric vans are very quiet, please pay attention to other road users who may not be aware of your presence - particularly vulnerable road users and animals.

  • Electric vans accelerate faster than diesel or petrol vans so please take extra care when moving off or speeding up as you get familiar with the vehicles.

  • The majority of e-vans have electric hand brakes. Please familiarise yourself and take extra care to ensure the handbrake is on and the wheels are turned into the kerb.

Making deliveries

  • Be aware of animals when delivering. Never push your hand through a letterbox for example, as you do not know what is on the other side.

  • Never include a customer's face when taking proof of delivery photos.
