At Ryde we want our clients, partners and riders to have the best possible delivery experience.

Riders

We want your experience with Ryde to be positive & safe!

Stay safe

You can see our Health & Safety articles for more information. At an absolute minimum riders must:

  • Follow all laws including road safety and traffic laws

  • Wear a helmet and reflective clothing to be more easily seen by other drivers

  • Carry food/perishable items in approved thermal bags - this keeps food at a safe temperature

  • Keep your bags clean and in a professional working condition

  • Alert Ryde of any damaged or faulty kit for a swift replacement

Polite and Professional

When you interact with customers, partners, other riders, Ryde staff, and members of the public we ask that you do so with respect. You should also follow all laws, rules and regulations when you're working:

  • Follow all laws and regulations

  • Treat everyone you interact with politely and respectfully

  • Keep customer data safe -- never share their details with anyone else

Ryde reserve the right to investigate any negative reports we receive concerning rider behaviour and this may result in temporary or permanent access to Ryde being blocked. Equally, if you believe another rider is in breach of our Community Guidelines or behaving unprofessionally please get in touch with us.

Ryde can only work if riders are acting in good faith and recognise the importance of delivering goods safe and timely manner. Our team continually monitors any suspicious and fraudulent behaviour, including:

  • Using multiple Ryde accounts at once

  • Allowing another person to use your Ryde account

  • Using a different mode of transport to the one you're registered with

  • Failing to attend pre-scheduled work

  • Marking orders as delivered when they haven't been

  • Manually adjusting your GPS location information

  • Taking an unreasonably long time to deliver orders by stopping or ignoring routes

Investigating Infringements

Should Ryde be made aware of riders breaching their terms & conditions, we will conduct thorough investigations before any immediate or permanent action is taken. The investigations are conducted internally. Should a pattern of sudden and extremely harmful behaviour involving your account be confirmed, we may choose to block access to your Ryde account permanently.

The behaviour we ask of our riders is asked of in return by all partners & suppliers. Should you believe the same expectations are not being held up, please contact us here.

These Community Guidelines form part of your agreement with Ryde.
