Visa letter availability
Your Nomad Insurance Essential plan allows you to generate a standard visa letter directly from your dashboard.
Standard self-service visa letter details (no customer care required)
When generating your visa letter, you can enter the following details yourself:
• Passport number
• Destination country or countries
Adding or updating destination countries on a standard visa letter does not require contacting customer care.
Log in to your Nomad Insurance dashboard.
Click Generate visa letter.
Enter your passport number and enter your destinations.
Click “Yes, we’re good to go.”
The standard visa letter is generated instantly with the entered information.
Note: You can add destination countries to your visa letter if required for visa purposes. However, including each country is optional, as you'll still be eligible for coverage there.
Special visa letter requests that require customer care:
The only customization requests we can accommodate are by contacting the Customer Care Team:
A sentence confirming coverage is extendable every 28 days (up to 364 days) — available for recurring plans only
Written confirmation of cruise coverage
Use of “Schengen Area” as wording instead of listing individual destination countries (only if your home country is not in the Schengen Area)
