On our Saga Standard, Select and Plus cover levels, there is already an element of personal accident cover included as standard. This standard amount provides up to £5,000 for severe injuries and death following an accident. For an additional cost, you can include our increased personal accident cover to your policy. The additional cover increases the limit covered and will also cover the smaller and more common injuries that are sustained in an accident such as fractures/broken bones.
This will provide up to £150,000 for you and other members of your family, if you are injured following an accident whilst travelling in the insured vehicle, in both the UK and Europe - regardless of liability.
This extended cover also includes:
Post Accident Counselling Therapy up to £1000
Hospital Cash Benefit - covers single night stays up to 180 nights; £300 for the first night and £200 each night thereafter
Up to £2,000 for Physiotherapy treatment as a result of whiplash
Total Disablement, Loss of Sight and Death up to £150,000
Fractures to arms, legs or wrists are covered up to £5,000
This can be added to all comprehensive cover levels, at an additional cost.
