How to allow pop-ups

A guide on how to allow pop-ups, to ensure you can download your documents

On the web, pop-up windows are often considered a nuisance. But sometimes, you need to enable pop-ups for certain websites to work properly. This guide covers some of the more popular browsers and how to allow pop-ups from just Saga, to ensure your online experience isn't interrupted.


Safari

  1. Open Safari and navigate to the website you want to allow pop-ups from.

  2. Right-click the website URL in the address bar and select 'settings for [website name]' or 'settings for this website'.

  3. In the small window that appears, scroll down to 'pop-up windows'.

  4. Use the drop-down box to choose 'allow' to see pop-ups for that website.


Google Chrome

In the address bar, click 'Pop-up blocked' when you see a pop-up notification. Click the link for the pop-up you want to see or select 'Always allow pop-ups and redirects from the site'.


Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge and navigate to the settings menu (3 dots) in the upper right-hand corner.

  2. Click settings

  3. Click 'Cookies and site permissions'

  4. Scroll down the page to 'Pop-ups and redirects'

  5. Under the 'allow' section, click 'add' and enter "www.saga.co.uk" and the press 'add' again.


Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the 'menu' button and select 'Options'.

  2. Select the 'Privacy & Security panel'.

  3. Scroll down to 'Permissions' and click 'Exceptions' next to 'Block pop-up windows'.

  4. Type in the website you want to exempt in the text box and hit 'enter'.

  5. Click 'Save changes'.
