Error: 'Incorrect email or password'

Use these checks if Sage HR shows an Incorrect email or password error when you try to sign in.

This article applies when you see the Incorrect email or password message on the Sage HR website or mobile app.

This error appears when:

  • The email address is incorrect, or

  • The password is incorrect

Check your email address

Confirm you’re using the correct email address.

Ask your employer, HR or payroll admin to confirm the email shown in your Sage HR profile.

Reset password

If the email address is correct, reset your password from the Sage account login screen.
