Halo settings that may affect Salesbuildr integration

We occasionally discover a setting in Halo that may be unique to a tenant that causes an issue with our normal integration. We are adding these issues with solutions below.

When adding a company/client in Salesbuildr you receive the following error: Please populate main contact name

Error:

To resolve this issue - in your HALO instance go to:

Configuration > Users > General settings

Untick the box: Make main contact details compulsory for new clients

This feature should be turned OFF


Quote will not sync with Ticket error

All teams error

If your quote will not sync with a 'ticket error' you need to go to your Halo Instance

Configuration --> Integrations --> HaloPSA API --> Applications

Tick the [x] allteams box and save.
