Will I get any free time throughout the week?

Updated over a year ago

Absolutely! The week is yours.

Our retreats are not designed to be like a bootcamp or similar. We program into the itinerary a bunch of stuff, which we'd love for you to get involved with, but is not mandatory. If you'd like to skip a workout, or any of the activities, this is more than welcome.

Likewise, if you'd like to include additional activities throughout the week that are not scheduled in the itinerary we're more than happy to help organise these for you. Chat with us during in the week, or in the lead up to the trip so we can organisr this for you.

Included below is a rough overview of the itinerary framework for you to review. This will change somewhat by destination, but gives you a rough idea of what to expect in the week:

Sunday - Arrival Day: Guests check in, with welcome snacks and a yoga or recovery session available to unwind after traveling. The day ends with a group dinner and welcome drinks.

Monday - Training Day: Begins with a 7:30 AM workout, followed by breakfast. After a yoga session at 12:30 PM and lunch, guests have free time until the evening workout at 5:30 PM, then dinner and drinks.

Tuesday - Morning Activity Day: Activities vary by location, such as running in Greece or surfing in tropical destinations. After yoga at 12:30 PM and lunch, the afternoon is free until the evening workout at 5:30 PM, followed by dinner and drinks.

Wednesday - Full Day Activity: The day starts with a morning workout and breakfast, then a full-day group activity like a boat trip. Guests return for dinner and rest.

Thursday - Afternoon Activity: After the morning workout and breakfast, guests have free time until yoga at 12:30 PM, followed by lunch. The evening is reserved for dining at a local restaurant to sample local cuisine, with no evening workout.

Friday - Training Day: Follows the same format as Monday, with structured workouts, a yoga session, and free time between meals.

Saturday - Departures Day: Concludes the week with a final morning workout, breakfast, and some relaxation time before departing the villa at 10 AM.

Notes:

  1. During the free time periods throughout the week, guests often engage in group games and activities such as volleyball, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, ziplining, kayaking, or surfing, etc (depending on the destination) If you'd rather lie by the pool and read your book - this is more than welcome!

  2. If there's a specific activity you'd like to incorporate into your trip that's not part of the standard itinerary, we're here to make it happen. Whether it's an additional adventure or a particular sport you're interested in, just let us know in advance, and we can likely organise it for you. Our aim is to ensure your Escape is as fulfilling and enjoyable as possible!
