In this lesson we'll go over how to download and manage upcoming field events in the SampleServe Mobile Field App.

When you first login to the mobile field app, you'll be presented with a summary list of all your upcoming field events associated with your account. These summaries are presented on individual cards which are listed in chronological order based on sampling date. The name of the project, the sampling date, the media type to be sampled, and the volume of samples to be collected for each event is displayed on the card.

To access the full details of a particular field event, simply click on the desired event and it will begin downloading all pertinent work scope information.

Once the event work scope details are fully downloaded, the arrow to the right side of the card will turn from black to green. This green arrow indicates that all the sampling event work scope details have been downloaded to the device and the user can start completing samples and collecting other field data information.

Once all data has been collected and the chain-of-custody transfers have been completed, and information shared with the appropriate persons, the user can mark the work scope as “completed” using the ellipses (3-dots) to the right side of the card. This will remove the event from the sample event line-up list.

A user can also filter all the events based on the “event status” by going to the upper right corner and clicking on the filter icon (upside down triangle) and selecting the event statuses that they are interested in.
