Use this guide if your Zebra label printer has stopped working — for example it shows Not Configured in Santé, or labels won't print. Reconnecting it usually takes a couple of minutes. (Setting it up for the first time? See Setting Up Your Zebra Label Printer instead.)
Step 1: Reconnect from the Hardware page
In Santé, go to Hardware. Your label printer will show Not Configured.
Click Set Up, then Allow.
Click Open Certificate, then on the Certificate page click Verify.
Note: a "Not secure" warning here is normal and safe to continue past — it's how the printer talks to your computer locally.
Step 2: Make sure Zebra Browser Print is running
Look for Zebra Browser Print in the hidden icons (the arrow in the system tray, near the clock).
If you don't see it, open Browser Print from the Start menu.
Leave its settings window open while the reconfiguration finishes.
Step 3: Test print
Once the printer reconnects, refresh the Santé page and run a test print to confirm it's working.
Still not working? Message us
If the printer won't reconnect after these steps, reach out to the Santé team with your register number and a photo of any error message, and we'll walk you through it.
