Reviewing and processing leave requests allows managers to assess time-off requests before they affect rosters and payroll. From the leave view, requests can be approved, declined, edited or deleted, with attention given to hours requested, leave balances and any supporting documents. Recording decisions and notes ensures leave is managed consistently and that accurate records are maintained. This guide explains how to review and process leave requests.

Reviewing and Processing Leave Requests
From the Dashboard, click Leave in the left-hand column.
All pending leave requests are displayed.
Review each request, paying particular attention to the hours requested and the employee’s current leave balance.
To approve a request, click the tick icon.
To decline a request, click the X icon.
Enter a reason for declining the request.
Click Decline to confirm.
To delete a request instead of approving or declining it, click the bin icon.
Confirm the deletion in the pop-up box.
To edit a leave request, click the pen and paper icon.
Make the required changes and add a note explaining why the request was edited.
Any change to the hours requested will be reflected in the grey summary box.
Upload a supporting document if required.
Click Update Leave Request.
Approve or decline the revised request.
When no requests appear under List, all current leave requests have been processed.
