When would I need to pause my store?
There are times when your store may need to temporarily stop accepting orders — inventory days, unexpected staff shortages, holidays, or technical issues. SauceyDirect makes it easy to pause your storefront without affecting your account or settings.
How do I pause my store?
To temporarily pause your store:
Log into your Merchant Dashboard.
Go to Store Settings.
Toggle Pick Up and OFF.
Save your changes.
Once paused, customers will see your store as temporarily unavailable and will not be able to place new orders.
Will orders already in progress be affected?
Pausing your store only affects new incoming orders. Any orders that are already placed and in progress should still be fulfilled. If you are unable to fulfill an in-progress order, cancel it through the dashboard and issue a refund before pausing.
How do I reopen my store?
To reopen, go back to Store Settings and toggle your Pick Up/Delivery status back on' Your store will immediately be available to customers again.
What if I need to close for an extended period?
For closures longer than a few days, contact SauceyDirect support so we can note your account accordingly and ensure no billing or platform issues arise during the closure.
Note: If you're closing for a holiday, update your store hours in advance so customers know before they try to order.
