Envie updates your savings amount in real-time based on your gameplay.
If you notice a discrepancy between your savings balance and your available balance/the amount transferred back to your linked account, it's likely due to one or more returns from your previous savings amounts.
If a savings amount is returned, you won’t be charged any fees or penalties, but that return will reflect on your available balance with Envie.
Any returns are deducted from your total savings amount.
For example: If you had a $1000 challenge but you can only transfer $997 back to your bank account, it's likely due to a $3 savings envelope return that happened while your challenge was still open.
Returns typically happen when the linked bank account either has insufficient funds or has been closed, which means Envie was not able to set aside that money for you.
