My envelope was returned. What do I do?

If one of your savings envelopes was returned due to account closure/insufficient funds, you can simply pick up where you left off.

Returned envelopes usually happen when either the linked bank account is no longer active or it does not have enough funds in the account to cover the savings envelope when Envie attempts its transfer.

If you've had an envelope returned, don't worry: you are not charged any fees or penalties. You can simply pick up where you left off whenever you're ready!

However, please note that the amount of the return will be deducted from your overall savings total and there isn't an option to go back to play again to replace that envelope.

For example: If you reach Day 100 of the $1000 challenge, but one of your envelopes for $10 was returned, you will receive $990 when you cash out your savings to send them back to your bank. This amount is deducted because it is we were unable to transfer from your bank account to your Envie account.
