Do I need a utility bill to get Florida or Texas residency?

Written by Bo

We provide you with all the documents to get Florida residency (including proof of address), so there is no need for a utility bill to become a resident of Florida. What we provide is sufficient to get your driver's license.

Florida: We provide a "Letter to the Tax Collector" as your proof of address.

Texas: Two Proofs of Residential Address: You must bring two items with you from this list. Typically, the most convenient items are a cell phone bill, pay stub, or bank statement (dated within the last 60 days). The address on this document should match your residential address as listed on your Address Tab. This item does not need to be an actual piece of mail but it should be printed.

Please note: for Texas we do not provide a proof-of-address document — both of your proofs must come from the Texas DPS list above.
