If you already have a Texas driver's license you can renew them online: You can renew your driver's license online through the Texas DPS: https://www.dps.texas.gov/section/driver-license/renew-your-texas-dl-cdl-motorcycle-license-or-id
Use your residential address for this process. You may need to provide proof of your address. Update your address with your bank or credit card company, and then upload a statement that shows your full name and Texas residential address. You can also do this with your cell phone provider.
If you're having trouble obtaining a document, consider signing up for a prepaid cell phone plan with US Mobile, which will provide you with a receipt (this plan costs around $44 per month). NOTE: while a US Mobile receipt is generally accepted by the Texas DPS as a valid second proof of address, occasionally it has been refused (less than 1% of the time) for including the word "invoice" on the document. This is up to the discretion of the specific DPS employee assigned to you during your appointment.
We offer a letter addressed to the Texas Department of Public Safety, but we recommend using this document only in person at your nearest Texas DPS office in order to obtain a new driver's license.
