How to set up slot management for you online booking

We have 2 different slot styles available to set up your availability

  • Slots

  • Manual Slots

Slots

Since you have different offerings with varying durations, you can customise slot management to ensure smooth scheduling. Here’s an example of how it works:

  • 1-hour services: Available slots could be 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, etc.

  • 2-hour services: Customers can only book in slots like 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, etc.

  • 3-hour services: Available slots would be 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, etc.

Slots CAN NOT overlap

ie. if you create one slot 9-11am and a 2nd 9:30- 11:30, when one slot is booked, the 2nd slot will be seen and will block the 2nd slot's availability.

Choose Manual slots to avoid this.

Manual Slots

Manual Slots offer the most flexibility!

  • They can be created in bulk and edited individually

  • They can also overlap as many times as you wish!

  • They are also visible in your calendar!

When you have enabled Manual Slots:

  • Top right Cog

  • Online booking icon

  • Online bookink Set up drop-down

  • Scroll down to booking availability

  • Check for Manual slots

  • Scroll to the bottom to update and save these settings

Creating Manual Slots

You create manual slots directly in the calendar, and you can view all available slots that are being offered in online booking.

In the calendar

  • Right click

  • Select create slot

  • Add the details on the duration of the appointment available, groomer available for this appointment

  • You can also create a bunch of slots in one go!

Manual slots, once created, are all individual slots. If you need to edit or remove any slots, this must be done individually in the calendar.
