Amazon Associates Account Closed / Suspended / Rejected / Removed

Amazon usually takes this action because it could not verify where affiliate traffic is coming from. The most common causes are:

• The Amazon Store ID in Scaled Creator does not match the Store ID in Amazon Associates.

• Not all websites and social media accounts that share affiliate links have been added to Amazon Associates.

• The listed URLs did not load when Amazon checked them, were mistyped, or point to a private account.

Step 1: Add All Websites & Social Accounts

Open the Websites and Mobile Apps section of your Amazon Associates account:

Add every platform where affiliate links are shared.

At a minimum add:

• Instagram

• TikTok

• YouTube

• Facebook (Facebook often doesn't get accepted, but add it anyway.)

Also add Scaled Creator to that list:

Then open every URL in a browser and confirm it loads. A typo or a private account is the most common reason Amazon cannot verify a listing.

Step 2: Verify the Amazon Store ID

Go to:

Make sure the Amazon Store ID entered in Scaled Creator exactly matches the Store ID shown in Amazon Associates.

Important: Do not use your Amazon Influencer ID (which typically starts with ONAMZ). Use your Amazon Store ID instead.

Step 3: Request Another Review

Once all websites/social accounts have been added and the Store ID matches, reply to Amazon's rejection email and request another review of the application.

If you are able to appeal, explain exactly how you use Scaled Creator. You post product content on your social accounts and ask interested viewers if they want the link. When someone asks, Scaled Creator's automation sends them that Amazon affiliate link by DM. That shows Amazon exactly where your traffic comes from and where your links go.

If Amazon still declines the application, creating a new Amazon Associates account and completing the steps above often resolves the issue.

Additional Information

Based on our testing and feedback from many Scaled Creator users, affiliate commissions are attributed correctly through Scaled Creator when the Amazon Store ID is configured correctly. In almost every case, this is an Amazon Associates account configuration issue rather than a problem with the affiliate links themselves.
