Include the title, venue, category, and any tags you may want included. Add the date(s) of your event, then click add these event times. You can add recurring events or a date range here if you'd like. Click save and continue.

Details - Here is where you can make your event shine! Add a cover image that correlates to your event. Use Unsplash if you don't have an image, or would rather use a free stock image. If you haven't set up your organization's color scheme yet, you can choose the color you want to highlight your event. Include a short summary, description, and add any additional images or media to your event posting. Save and continue. * Note - The aspect ratio for your cover image is 800x432, and multiples of that will work. Larger images will automatically be scaled down when needed

Ticketing - If you are selling tickets, add that information in the ticketing tab, if not, click save and continue.

Events that are pulled in from Eventbrite should automatically populate the ticketing fields.

Promote - This is where you'll promote your event to send it to local curator calendars. You can choose which ones you want to send to, or you can automatically send it to all local community calendars (recommended). If you want to save a draft of your event and come back to it, you can save without promoting, just remember that your event will not be live on any calendars until you come back to promote it.

Click View Event Page (top right) to see what your event listing will look like.

Once your event is set up, you can use any of SceneThink's free promotional tools to help share your event(s) with more people.

TIP: Make sure to add your logo and color scheme to brand your events when people click on them (you can set this up by clicking on your organization settings).

  1. Share a link to your event page (use url from View Event Page) or share using the social icons on your event page.

  2. Click on Calendar Setup to customize your calendar. You can link to your SceneThink event calendar from your website, and use it as your event page on your site (free). Alternatively, we can give you a line of code so you can embed the calendar into your existing website, which will allow you to fully integrate the calendar onto your site (pro feature).

  3. Use the free email builder to email your event(s) using your Mailchimp or Constant Contact account.
