Once you’ve built your visualisation, you may want to make some edits. You can add, replace, or remove data from the visualisation.

Open an existing dossier and select the visualisation you want to modify. Click the pencil icon to enter edit mode.

Adding Data

  • To add data to the visualisation, drag attributes or metrics from the Datasets panel to the appropriate area of the visualisation's Editor panel.

  • Press and hold the Ctrl key to select multiple attributes and metrics. A blue indicator line appears in the location where you can add the attribute or metric.

  • The blue + symbol signifies that the data will be added to the field.

Removing Data

  • To remove data from the visualization, right-click the object to remove in the Editor panel and choose Remove.

  • Alternatively, drag the data out of the field until a red X icon appears.

  • To remove all data from a visualisation, select the three dots in the top right hand corner of the visualisation and click Remove Data.

  • Alternatively, click on the eraser icon.

Replacing Data

  • To replace an attribute or metric in the visualisation, right-click the object in the Editor panel and choose Replace With. Next, select the item to replace the object.

  • Alternatively, drag a new metric or attribute to the field. The blue reverse arrow symbol signifies that the data will be replaced.
