Why should I add custom fields to my Scorecard?
Custom fields allow you to apply your own attributes on top of the default set of fields that we provide and to have additional data points for your reporting (Note: Only Data Tag style custom fields can be used within reporting filters).
There are two types of Custom Fields that can be added: Data Tag and Text Input.
The Data Tag custom fields will be displayed like drop-down menus with entries to pick from.
Text Input field will be a free text field just like the default Reference field.
How do I add custom fields to my Scorecard?
From the scorecard edit page, select 'More' and then 'Custom Fields' from the drop down menu
On the Custom Fields page select 'Add Custom Field' in the top right
A pop up will appear allowing you to enter the field name and type; if you select 'Data Tag' as the field type an additional field will appear allowing you to enter the tags which can be selected for the custom field. This pop up will also allow you to select whether the field is mandatory for saving an evaluation (if 'Required' is ticked, an evaluator must enter a value in the field in order to save the score)
You can add as many Custom Fields as you want. Here is an example of Custom Fields that were added:
And here is how the Custom Fields are displayed when submitting a score:
How can my fields be use in reports?
Where it is possible to filter by a scorecard within reports and analytics is will also be possible to filter by data tags associated with said scorecard. Once a scorecard has been selected an additional field will appear allowing you to enter a data tag or multiple data tags to further filter the results. The data tag filter logic can be set such that scores which contain any of the selected tags display, or scores which contain all of the selected tags display.
