What is Score Alignment?

Score alignment allows a Supervisor to see the difference between how results they have scored, have been scored by other users where used in a Calibration list.

It can be used as part of a "check the checker" process.

How does Score Alignment work?

A Supervisor can access the Score Alignment page from their dashboard by selecting the Score Alignment tab.

On the page they will be shown (based on the date range in the filter) all of the results they have scored which have also been calibrated within a Calibration list. They will only see those results for which the Calibration Report has been released.

The "ID" is the ID of the result they created.
The "Score" is the score they themselves awarded when scoring that result.
The "Alignment Variation" is the aggregate of the "Average Variation" for that result from any Calibration list it has been used in. An asterisk (*) denotes that the result has been calibrated in more than one list. Click the value to bring up a pop up which will expose the "Average Variation" for each individual list.

Example 1:

Grace (a Supervisor) scores a call and awards it 90%.

This result is then used within a Calibration list. Two users calibrate this score, awarding it 50% and 75%. The Average Variation within this list's report would be -27.5.

If Grace visits the Score Alignment page. She will see an Alignment Variation value of -27.5. She is on average scoring 27.5 percentage points higher than other users.

Example 2:

Alex (a Supervisor) scores a call and awards it 40%.

This result is then used within two Calibration lists.

In list 1, two users calibrate this score, awarding it 90% and 100%. The Average Variation within this list's report would be +55.

In list 2, three users calibrate this score, awarding it 75%, 80% and 90%. The Average Variation within this list's report would be +47.

If Alex visits the Score Alignment page. He will see a Alignment Variation value of +47. He is on average scoring 47 percentage points lower than other users.

How can a Supervisor understand where they went wrong?

Clicking the Employee name or Score will take the user to the result they created, allowing them to view their original answers and comments.

Clicking the Alignment Variation will take the user to the Calibration Report page (as long as this has been released).

From here, clicking the Employee name will expose a dropdown where they can see the answers they provided versus those of the other users. Those highlighted in purple are where the answers were different.
