When you use our services, you trust us with your data. It is our responsibility to be clear about what we collect and how we use it to make our services work better for you.

When you sign up for Scoutpad, we automatically track and store certain standard data fields on users which are core to our service.

Your Security

Our main concern is that your data is safe and secure, so we made some precautionary measures:

  1. Any data in your Scoutpad account is your own (not ours), your information is not accessed by anyone else or sold to anyone.

  2. You can already export all of your reports/data and save them to your desktop.

  3. All your private user data (e.g. reports, player profiles, notes, favorites) is stored in a personal database on servers in Germany, on which only your team has access to.

  4. Our system uses SSL security, our data bases are encrypted and our hardware has top of the range firewalls so it's super secure and stable.

  5. We create daily backups of our redundant storage solutions and we do not pass on your stored data.

We only track very less user data for customer support

We want to make sure our users have the best Scoutpad experience possible. We only collect a small amount of data and do minimal statistical analysis to understand user behavior, how people use our services, and to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve Scoutpad. We might, for example, use it to decide which feature to build next.

We don't use any analytics or tracking service in our apps but use a service for direct customer support (Intercom) which provides some basic information about a user' usage.

Your data

If your data is not secure, it is not private. That is why we make sure, that our Services are protected by the most advanced security infrastructures. Encryption keeps your data private while in transit. We will only pass on to third parties the most relevant data for the fulfillment of the contract.

Below is a full list of data we track:

  1. Name (a person's full name)

  2. Email (user's or leads email address)

  3. Club name (user's club name)

  4. Web sessions (number of times a user has visited Scoutpad)
