Watchlists are a collection of players you want to follow and analyze using the data built into your Scoutpad account. They provide a convenient way to “bookmark” and scroll through a number of interesting players that catch your eye, all to plan your next move in the market.

Why multiple watchlists?

The watchlist gives you the option to track players that you are interested in having on your team or even keep managed your own players, you'll be able to view these all in one place.

Multiple Watchlists are useful if:

  • you have more than one Scouting department,

  • your Scouting is spread over more than one market, or

  • you want to analyze players in different groups separately.

You may want to consider capping your list off at a number that’s comfortable for you to manage (or even split them into several lists), so you don’t have a huge volume of players to watch, which can cut focus.

Create New Watchlist

You can manage your watchlists on the account menu on the left side by the spyglass icon. Tap on ADD A NEW WATCHLIST, enter a list name and a description. Any empty lists will have a shortlist of player suggestions on the bottom based on your categorized players. Select the players you want to add by tapping on the checkbox next to the player image and finally click on ADD SELECTED TO WATCHLIST to synchronize these players to your watchlist. You can add single players by +PLAYER as well.

Manage a Watchlist

Here you’ll see your list of watchlists along with details about them. The title will display the initial letters of the watchlist creator. On a watchlist, you can:

  • Add players to your watchlist: Click +Player next to the list name.

  • Remove player from your watchlist: Tap on remove button X to remove a player.

  • Sort players on your watchlist: Drag and drop players to the list position of your choice.

  • Rename watchlist: Update list name and/or description by edit button.

Players can be added to more than one list at the same time. If you click on a player name, the player detail page will be open. In the bottom corner of a detail page you can check to which watchlists this player belongs, add him to a list or remove him.

As a group admin on a custom licence, you are able to filter the lists by group member and see the member’s activity. You are granted the same permissions as for a list creator.

Delete Watchlist

To delete a watchlist you created:

  1. Click on ALL WATCHLISTS.

  2. Tap on the trash icon of the list you want to delete.

  3. Confirm deletion.

Plan Limitations

A Single Plan Licence allows you to maintain 2 Watchlists, while Single Pro and Custom Members can create unlimited Watchlists. On a free plan, this section is blocked.

Edit player data

Player data can now also be easily edited directly using the squad list without having to drag the player on the pitch.

Player Category

We renamed the player category NO CATEGORY to NOTABLE. The four items to categorize players are now

  • Notable: Player that is interesting to look at and worthy of note

  • Perspective: Player who is targeted for a closer scrutiny

  • Focus: Player considered for immediate transfer but needs final evaluation

  • Immediately: Player that is recommended for an immediate transfer
