Before you begin
Only practice account administrators can manage seats, view billing, and assign seat types. Other team members won't see these options.
Seat assignment, adding or removing seats, and invoice access are all Unleashed features. If you don't see the Essential plan option when subscribing, contact support@scribblevet.com.
Seat types
ScribbleVet has three user types under the Unleashed plan:

How billing works
When you add a seat, the charge is prorated immediately for the remaining days in your current billing period. When you remove a seat, the change takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle—there is no prorated refund, and the veterinarian keeps full access until renewal.
Newly invited veterinarians automatically start as Guests with a free 14-day trial. After the trial ends, they need an assigned seat to continue using ScribbleVet.

Frequently asked questions
Do staff members need seats?
No. Receptionists, technicians, and managers are always free and unlimited—no seat is required.
What happens when a Guest trial ends?
The veterinarian loses access until an admin assigns them a seat. A banner will appear in the app prompting them to manage seats.
Can I have both Full-time and Part-time seats?
Yes. You set the number of Full-time and Part-time veterinarian seats when you subscribe, and can adjust them anytime from Settings → Practice → Seats.
