Tags play an important role in the Site Diary app. If used correctly, it can be a very powerful field to categorise your diary entries and task. Here are several reasons why tags are important.

  1. Tags are used to let you know what kind of event/task it is. Whether it was a progress report, safety observation, work delay, non-conformity, defect, delivery etc.

  2. You can filter events by tag. Therefore, if you are looking for all the safety observations recorded on your site for the month, just put “safety observation” in the filter.

  3. You pre-set your tags in the resources section so all team members use the same term.

You can create tags by following the steps shown in the pictures below.

To add selected tags to your site or projects please follow the steps shown in the picture below:

  1. Click site.

2. On the left side of the screen click information. Here you will find tags.

3. Click on add information which will give you two options. You can either select tags from the global resources or you can create new tags for particular sites.

Follow the instructions shown in the image below:

After selecting the copy from global resources you can select all the tags at once or you can select required tags from the list. See the instructions below.

If you select add a new tag then you can create new tags for this specific site. To create new tags please follow the instructions shown in the picture below.
