The ability to customize the site diary form

Custom Forms allow you to add custom fields in the site diary, number, and text boxes to work item forms. These additional fields create a section on the work item to track specific details for your organization. You can also delete the section you don’t need from a diary form. Once a custom form is created, it can then be saved as a default form for all the sites.

You will be able to:

• add fields (text, selectable list),
• remove fields, rename fields (for example Manpower to people)
• or remove things from a field (for example in the field Manpower, remove the time option)

Steps:

  1. Click Site Diary

2. Click on Go to administration

3. Click on the Event form

4. Add the additional section or delete the unwanted section

5. Name the headline and sub-section

6. Choose a text field or number field and enter the field title (You can select a text field or number field)

7. Click on Update Form to save the changes
