Scrypt will continually read information from your dispensing software to give you a live profile. When a new medication is dispensed for a customer, the medication will appear as “Uncategorised” in their profile.

If required, CRM Notes on the Dashboard will alert you to new medications that need to be categorised.

Categorising Medications

Whilst in a patients profile you wish to categorise medications for:

1. Navigate to the Current Medication areas (below the Customers' information)

2. Under the Uncategorised section, set the Rpt Freq (Repeat Frequency) & Category

Rpt Freq (Repeat Frequency) = "The number of days a single dispensing of medication will last this customer" e.g. If a dispensing of 1 box containing 100 tablets is taken at a rate of 1 tablet twice a day (i.e. 2 tablets per day), then the number of days this dispensing of medication will last is 50 days. Therefore the Rpt Freq should be set to 50.

⚠ The Rpt Freq value will try to read the directions and calculate correct Repeat Frequency, if it is unable to, it will default to the QTY entered in your dispense software, which is why some medications may initially display as 1 e.g. Eye drop medication is commonly dispensed at a QTY of 1.

3. Once complete for each row, select Go

4. Continue categorising any other medications to complete the profile.

Note: For PRN medications, the Rpt Freq does not matter as the supply is not scheduled or automated.

The newly categorized medications will now be located in the corresponding category with the calculated DOH value.

⚠ If you chose NOT to categorise medications, there will be some limitations in what the customer will see on the Scrypt Mobile app (e.g. calculated DOH)
