What is a contact card?
A contact card, or virtual contact card, lets you send your contact information in a format that other programs, such as a customer's mobile phone, can read easily.
Including your pharmacy's contact card in messages lets customers save your details to their phone automatically, rather than entering each field manually. Manual entry is a barrier to saving the information at all, so the contact card makes it far more likely customers keep your details.
Set up the contact card
Scrypt automatically uses the pharmacy information saved on your settings page. Make sure your details are correct and click save.
The contact card contains the following information:
Pharmacy name
Address
Phone number
Fax
Email
Website
Facebook
Instagram
Pharmacy logo
Note: for the contact card to send correctly, the pharmacy name must contain only alphanumeric characters and these accepted symbols: & - , '
Click the button below to check your pharmacy's information. Remember to click save after you update it.
Send the contact card to customers
To send the contact card, create a message template and include the merge tag <<ContactVCard>> in it.
Here is an example template you could create:
Hi <<FirstName>>, |
You can reuse this template in future to make communicating with customers easier. Click the button below to go to your communication settings.
