How to Pay for an order with Scrypt Pay (Customer guide)

A step-by-step guide on how to complete a remote payment via Scrypt.Pay on your mobile device.

Your pharmacy is now able to send payment requests to your mobile phone. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to complete the payment.

STEPS

  1. You will receive an SMS from SCRYPTPAY with details requesting payment:

If you already have the SCRYPT MOBILE app - Please go to step 3.


2. Tap the scryp.co/download link to download the free SCRYPT MOBILE App.

⚠️Why do I need to download an App to make payment to my pharmacy?

To ensure the safety of your remote payment, we require that it be processed through a verified app. This helps reduce the risk of fraud and keeps your information secure. By using a trusted platform, you can be confident that your payment will be processed smoothly and securely.


3. Open the SCRYPTPAY SMS & tap on the payment code to copy the payment code.


4. Open up the SCRYPT MOBILE app and complete the following points:

  • Under Scrypt.Pay - Tap Pay for your Order

  • Enter your payment code

  • Tap Retrieve Order

Note: If this is your first time opening the SCRYPT MOBILE app, you will need to swipe through the welcome slides until you are able to Tap Scrypt.Pay.

There are THREE options to process the payment for your order in Scrypt Mobile:

(OPTION 1). Login Screen > Pay for your order
(no login required)

(OPTION 2) Medication Profile page


*On some Android devices, this method may produce an "invalid code error" If you are experiencing this error, revert to (OPTION 1)

(OPTION 3) Account Page

*On some Android devices, this method may produce an "invalid code error" If you are experiencing this error, revert to (OPTION 1)


5. Tap Pay for my order.


6. Review your order, then tap Continue to payment.


7. Enter in your Payment details, then tap Validate.


8. Review your payment details, then Tap Confirm & Pay.


9. You'll receive a confirmation that payment has been successful.


10. Scroll down to either View Receipt or Email receipt so you can save yourself a copy in your email.

You have now completed a safe and secure remote payment to your pharmacy with Scrypt.Pay!


FAQs

I didn't receive the SCRYPTPAY SMS?

If you have not received the SMS from the SCRYPTPAY number, please request your pharmacy to send a new one to your mobile number.

I recevied a notification that I have an SMS from SCRYPTPAY, but it is not displaying in my Message History. How do I fix this?

If you're an iOS device user (such as iPhone), there has been an update in your settings that may automatically delete verification codes in messages and Mail after they are used. To turn offGo to your Settings > Search "AutoFill & Passwords" > Then you’ll see VERIFICATION CODES and a "Delete After Use" toggle. Tap the toggle to turn it off. Request the pharmacy to resend you another SMS.
