If a patient is transferring from another pharmacy, they can reconnect their Scrypt Mobile account to your pharmacy. There is no one-click switch, so this guide explains the two ways to do it and what to consider first.
Before switching
Medication profile. Medication data in Scrypt Mobile is pulled from the linked pharmacy's database. Once the account connects to a new pharmacy, the patient will no longer see medications dispensed at the previous pharmacy.
Saved scripts. Before switching, the patient should save any eScript QR codes (as PDFs or screenshots) to their phone. These can be uploaded to the new account if they have not yet been dispensed. Alternatively, they can request access to their Active Script List (ASL/MySL) through your pharmacy.
Option 1: Request a new invitation
The patient ignores their old account and requests a new invitation from your pharmacy. They must use a new username (email or mobile number), because their previous username is still tied to the old pharmacy account.
Option 2: Delete the old account
The patient deletes their old account, then registers again with the same username. They can delete it by either:
opening the app and going to Account > Personal > Delete Account, or
asking their previous pharmacy to remove the account via Scrypt HQ.
After switching
Once one of the options above is complete, send the patient a new invitation to connect with your pharmacy. See How to send out Scrypt Mobile invitations.
