Signing up customers to Scrypt Mobile

A step-by-Step guide to signing up customers to the free Scrypt Mobile app, The ability for your customers to store, manage & order eScripts

โš ๏ธ BEFORE YOU START: Please ensure you have added these patient details in your dispense software:

  • Date of Birth; and

  • Mobile number

  • Email address

These details are required for a Scrypt Mobile account.


In Scrypt HQ:

1. Search for your customer & open their profile.

2. Double check the customer's details are correct:

  • Date of Birth

  • Mobile Number &/or Email address

    If these details are incorrect, please update in your dispense software.


3. Select Invite to Scrypt Mobile

4. Choose to send invite via SMS or EMAIL

5. A green success bar will show to indicate the invitation has been successfully sent.

For Patients / Pharmacy Customers

On your phone:

1. Open the SMS inviting you to Scrypt Mobile

2. Tap the blue link to open up the app, or direct the customer to download the app.

If the customer has downloaded the Scrypt Mobile app

If the customers has NOT downloaded the Scrypt Mobile app

  • Tap the Blue link and it will automatically enter in the unique code and start the sign up process inside the Scrypt Mobile app.

  • Tap the Blue link and it will redirect the customer to their app store. Instruct the customer to download the app.

  • Once this have been downloaded, instruct the customer go back to the SMS and tap on the blue link again, This will automatically enter in the unique code and start the sign up process inside the Scrypt Mobile app.

3. Once the Unique code is entered in the app:

a. Enter in either your email address or your mobile number.

b. Enter a secure password

Scrypt Mobile provides access to sensitive health information.

A secure password is should be at least 6 characters long containing at minimum:

  • both uppercase (A-Z) and lowercase (a-z) letters

  • a digit (0-9)

  • a symbol ( ! @ # $ % ^ & * )

5. Select Sign Up

Success! Your Scrypt Mobile account is now active.


For Patients / Pharmacy Customers - via email

On Customers phone:

1. Open the email that has just been received.

2. Select Get Started

If the customer has downloaded the Scrypt Mobile app

If the customers has NOT downloaded the Scrypt Mobile app

  • Selecting Get Started will automatically enter in the unique code and start the sign up process inside the Scrypt Mobile app.

  • Selecting Get Started will redirect the customer to their app store. Instruct the customer to download the app.

  • Once this have been downloaded, instruct the customer go back to the email and select Get Started again, This will automatically enter in the unique code and start the sign up process inside the Scrypt Mobile app.

3. Once the Unique code is entered in the app:

a. Enter in your email address or your mobile number

b. Enter a secure password.
