From a system perspective Sea/support can check whether or not the application sent the notification.

It can be the case that the notification email is in the receiver's Junk Folder rather than their Inbox.

There have also been occasions where a company's IT department have blocked the emails and the email address needs to be marked on their internal system as a 'safe' sender.
