Step-by-Step
- Go to Gear > Users and click on the edit icon next to your user name. 
- Scroll down and verify that you have the permission "Settings Manager." 
 
- Navigate to Assessment Designer in the left-side navigation menu. - There will be 3 default assessment templates - High, Medium, and Beginner. The default assessment templates cannot be edited but they can be copied. 
 
- Click > copy button next to the default template for either the beginner, medium, or high assessment. 
 A new custom template will be created based on the template you chose.
 
- On the next screen, click > edit button next to the standard name and rename the assessment template. 
- Click > edit icon next to the description field if you would like to add a description for what this template is for. This will display in the Assessment Designer screen next to the custom template you have created. 
- Click on any section to navigate into the section view. 
- Review the statements and determine which statements are non-applicable for the template type being created. 
- Click > N/A on the statement and/or click > N/A slider on the section. - The counter will keep track of the total number of N/A statements in the section. 
 
- Work through the entire section until all of the appropriate statements/sections are marked N/A. 
- Click > Next Section at the bottom to navigate to the next section. 
 Or click > Back to index to return to the index view of the assessment template.
 
 Back on the index view, the number of N/A marked statements will be tracked.
 
- Work through the entire assessment until all of the appropriate statements/sections are marked N/A. 
 - WARNING: You will need to create a beginner, medium and high assessment template for each specific purpose. You can only apply a template of the same impact level to vendors so for example, you will need to apply a medium assessment template to all vendors classified as medium. 
 
- When confirming the vendor's classification, you will be able to select the assessment template from the dropdown. 
 The pre-marked N/A's will be applied to the vendor's assessment before they arrive inside S2Vendor.
 
 PLEASE NOTE: Vendors can choose a response other than N/A. However, when they view the assessment form, it will display all N/A responses as already complete.
