Step-by-Step

  1. Go to Gear > Users and click on the edit icon next to your user name.

  2. Scroll down and verify that you have the permission "Settings Manager."

S2Vendor roles with Relationship Owner and Settings Manager checked
  3. Navigate to Assessment Designer in the left-side navigation menu.

There will be 3 default assessment templates - High, Medium, and Beginner. The default assessment templates cannot be edited but they can be copied.

  4. Click > copy button next to the default template for either the beginner, medium, or high assessment.

A new custom template will be created based on the template you chose.

  5. On the next screen, click > edit button next to the standard name and rename the assessment template.

  6. Click > edit icon next to the description field if you would like to add a description for what this template is for. This will display in the Assessment Designer screen next to the custom template you have created.

  7. Click on any section to navigate into the section view.

  8. Review the statements and determine which statements are non-applicable for the template type being created.

  9. Click > N/A on the statement and/or click > N/A slider on the section.

The counter will keep track of the total number of N/A statements in the section.

  10. Work through the entire section until all of the appropriate statements/sections are marked N/A.

  11. Click > Next Section at the bottom to navigate to the next section.

Or click > Back to index to return to the index view of the assessment template.

Back on the index view, the number of N/A marked statements will be tracked.

  12. Work through the entire assessment until all of the appropriate statements/sections are marked N/A.

WARNING: You will need to create a beginner, medium and high assessment template for each specific purpose. You can only apply a template of the same impact level to vendors so for example, you will need to apply a medium assessment template to all vendors classified as medium.

  13. When confirming the vendor's classification, you will be able to select the assessment template from the dropdown.

The pre-marked N/A's will be applied to the vendor's assessment before they arrive inside S2Vendor.

PLEASE NOTE: Vendors can choose a response other than N/A. However, when they view the assessment form, it will display all N/A responses as already complete.

Assessment templates are also used for setting requirements for notes and attachments. Learn more here.
